{"id":2346,"date":"2020-06-11T15:48:21","date_gmt":"2020-06-11T15:48:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.imepower.com\/?p=2346"},"modified":"2020-06-11T15:48:21","modified_gmt":"2020-06-11T15:48:21","slug":"mou-signed-between-government-and-industry-associations","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.imepower.com\/en\/mou-signed-between-government-and-industry-associations\/","title":{"rendered":"MOU signed between Government and industry associations"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On June 10, 2020, the Government of Ukraine and authorized representatives of the European-Ukrainian Energy Agency and <span class=\"st\">the Ukrainian Wind Energy Association signed the Memorandum of Understanding for the resolution of problematic issues in the renewable energy industry of Ukraine. <\/span><\/p>\n<p>Brief summary of key MOU provisions is presented below:<\/p>\n<p>Repayment of debts from the Guaranteed Buyer to RES producers:<\/p>\n<p>40% &#8211; Q4 2020,<\/p>\n<p>60% &#8211; during 2021 in 4 equal quarterly installments.<\/p>\n<p>Full and timely monthly payment from the Guaranteed Buyer to RES producers: from the month following the month when respective Law (implementing the MOU conditions) comes in force.<\/p>\n<p><em>Solar pre-PPA \u201ccut off\u201d date<\/em>: 31 July 2020<\/p>\n<p><em>Wind pre-PPA \u201ccut off\u201d date<\/em>: none (current legislation remains in force, e.g. 3 years from pre-PPA signing date)<\/p>\n<p><em>Wind FIT reduction<\/em> (no PPA extension) by commissioning period:<\/p>\n<p>2020-2022: -2.5%<\/p>\n<p>01\/07\/2015-31\/12\/2019: -7.5%<\/p>\n<p><em>Solar FIT reduction<\/em> (no PPA extension) by commissioning period:<\/p>\n<p>01\/01\/2020-31\/07\/2020: -2.5%<\/p>\n<p>01\/07\/2015-31\/12\/2019: -15.0% for SPPs with capacity equal or above 1 MW \/ -10% for SPPs with capacity below 1 MW<\/p>\n<p>Before 01\/07\/2015: special FIT \u201ccap\u201d of 220 EUR\/MWh has been introduced<\/p>\n<p><em>Curtailment<\/em>: no changes (current legislation remains in force, e.g. full compensation at FIT)<\/p>\n<p><em>Balancing responsibility<\/em>: 50% from 2021; 100% from 2022<\/p>\n<p><em>Forecast tolerance margin<\/em> (until end of 2029): 5% solar, 10% wind<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On June 10, 2020, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and authorized representatives of the European-Ukrainian Energy Agency and the Ukrainian Wind Energy Association signed the Memorandum of Understanding for the resolution of problematic issues in the renewable energy industry of Ukraine.
