Description: preparing the Draft Law for the purpose of transposition and implementation of the requirements of Regulation (EU) 1227/2011 (REMIT) in the Ukrainian legislation
Tasks/activities performed:

• analysis of the Ukrainian laws to identify the non-compliance with the Regulation (EU) 1227/2011 (REMIT) and preparing preliminary proposals for improvements of the laws;
• organization of the kick-off meeting with participation of the NEURC, the Ministry of Energy, the Antimonopoly Committee, the ECS and other relevant stakeholders;
• preparing the Draft Law with amendments to existing laws which allows to transpose requirements of the Regulation (EU) 1227/2011 and submitting to the ECS and NEURC;
• analysis of the comments of the ECS, the NEURC and preparing the final Draft Law, an Explanatory Note and Comparative Table which are mandatory documents submitted together with the Draft Law;
• preparing a 1-day workshop to present the final Draft Law to the NEURC, the Ministry of Energy, the Antimonopoly Committee, etc.
