Moldova signed contract for electricity export from Ukraine

According to the news report by Interfax Ukraine, Energocom (Moldova) signed today contract with DTEK Power Trade (Ukraine) for electricity supplies in 2012. The contract comes in force starting 01 April 2012 and envisages electricity price at the level of 69 USD/MWh, which is higher than previous level of 61 USD/MWh. According to Energocom, export volumes will be sufficient to cover the needs of Red Nord and Red Nord-Vest located in the north of Moldova.

This is another good news for DTEK coming this week that will enable increasing further profitability of their electricity export operations in 2012.
