Description: study of opportunities of solar project development in Chornobyl area
Tasks/activities performed:
- study of electricity market legal and regulatory framework in Ukraine
- identification of specifics of Chornobyl Exclusion Zone and Zone of absolute (obligatory) resettlement
- analysis of the Ukrainian legislation that defines legal status of the Zones and regulates practical aspects of the SPP construction
- description of solar project development process
- identification of related risks and provision of recommendations in respect to their mitigation as well as in respect to regulatory procedures during the SPP construction in the Zones, aligning of the SPP construction in the Zones with new RES support scheme, allocation of a land lot for the SPP construction in the Zones, compliance with requirements for activity in the Zones
- review of assumptions for financial model of the project.
